Got this from
This film director, Zoltan TOEPLER a.k.a. Nickolaus MYSLICKI, has made a film in which a kitten is STRANGLED to DEATH (or drowned; I'm not entirely sure which, as I couldn't bring myself to watch it) for two full minutes - and he's gotten an AWARD for it! Mind you, it was NOT a special effect - the cat was real, and it was KILLED. "Artistic freedom", he says, "oh, and the cat was ill and it was going to be put down the next day anyway". "Artistic freedom", my ARSE! The kitten may have been ill, but that doesn't justify STRANGLING it to death for the sake of a bloody film! The whole idea of putting an animal down is to save it from suffering, FFS! What kind of daft idiot doesn't understand that?!
I hope that one day, when he falls ill, somebody strangles him to death - and films it! And then makes a short documentary of it titled "Killing a Cat Killer" - for which they receive countless awards. Poetic justice - now, wouldn't that go nicely with such "artistic" freedom?

"/.../ Static camera, showing all the pain and agony of a two minutes long cry for help. Selfish, irresponsible act. The cat did not even try to crawl out of the hand holding it - we can see that it trusts that very hand." - Filmpont.hu
